OUR HISTORY
Humble Beginnings
Adam Truss is the driving force of this brickwork company. From the age of 19 he started his bricklayer Apprenticeship with Wimpy Homes, now Taylor Wimpy, and soon progressed finishing his course a year earlier than the other candidates. He was focused to achieving the maximum out of his chosen career, and loved his craft then the opportunity’s soon followed. Age 26 was promoted to site charge hand looking after a gang of bricklayers/ hod carrier’s then reporting back to the site foreman on large scale projects The understanding of Architects detail drawings was second to none and soon was able to understand any building drawings at a drop of a hat, so was inevitable that he progressed further. Age 30 was promoted to site foreman in total control of 30 men building 100+ Houses / Retirement Homes / School etc, so is Extremely qualified in all Aspects of Brickworks. By the age of 35 he decided to start his own company at a considerable smaller scale in the domestic sector rather than the large commercial contractors he was used to, and loved every minute of it, from building 100 houses, now is happy keeping it a smaller scale. New Builds, Houses, Extensions, Brick walls, Arches Bullseyes, English Bond, Stretcher Bond, Flemish Bond, Feature Brickwork, All Aspects of Brickwork.
